The Workers’ Compensation Insurance Rating Bureau of California (WCIRB) has appointed Andrea Coleman as its new President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO), effective February 1, 2025. Coleman, who previously served as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer (COO), steps into the role with a wealth of industry expertise and a strong leadership background.

A Proven Leader with Extensive Experience

Since joining WCIRB in May 2022, Coleman has played a crucial role in strategic oversight across various operational areas, including:

  • Finance and Human Resources
  • Customer Experience and Marketing
  • Classification and Test Audits
  • Contact Center Operations

Her career spans over 20 years in the insurance industry, with leadership positions at global insurers specializing in underwriting, distribution, and complex operational management.
